I have always been drawn by an obscure passion toward the unknown, toward moments when inner experience exceeds language, knowledge, and rational thought.

The pictorial field becomes a threshold that I bury, obscure, and uncover the surface. What remains is  often the residue of experience: silence, the void, and the echo of something that can no longer be named. As the boundary of the self dissolves, inner experience is no longer entirely my own.

Excess!
